Video StreamingStream broadcast quality video over public IPVideo streaming allows a receiver to constantly display multimedia simultaneously while it is sent by a provider. TVBLOB media centers perform this function over “best effort” public IP in real-time, while also employing NAT traversal to establish connections within private TCP/IP networks. The professional products currently encode MPEG2 and MPEG4 at bit rates of up to 15 Mbps, in full D1, full-frame support, for both PAL and NTSC standards. The next generation box will also encode H.264, H.263, Flash, WM9, and MPEG-3. Video streaming sources may range from live video camera feeds (e.g., video call, events) or external devices such as VCRs, DVDs, or video production decks.
